About Aroha Cambridge
Aroha Cambridge is a registered Charitable Trust set up to restore and protect the natural environs of Cambridge, New Zealand, for now and future generations.
Registration Number: CC63605
Commenced: July 2025
Cambridge holds a special place at the foothills of Maungatautari - home of New Zealand’s largest fenced eco-sanctuary.
Building on the success of Predator Free Cambridge and due to the need to have a formal entity for funding applications and donation receipts, on 30 June 2025, a core action group established Aroha Cambridge Charitable Trust.
While predator control remains central to its work, Aroha Cambridge will expand its focus to include pest plant control, native replanting, and water quality restoration - all while connecting our community through education and sharing environmental goals.
We’re proudly aligned with the successful Aroha Kaikorai Valley (AKV) trust in Dunedin, which is generously supporting us with branding, document templates, health and safety resources, and practical guidance.
